Galaptigus Juice vs Morning Glory:

Ginger brûlée, sousvide apples, mint rock, walnut caviar, carrot gel, orange caramel sauce, and more components, making an amazing taste and texture sensation. Wonderful.

It’s not a hamburger! …It’s a macaron!:

Here’s the description from the menu: Two giant chocolate macarons filled with dulce de leche gelato and dark chocolate sauce, rested on a bed of banana and caramel rice pudding, finished with a sprinkle of bitter chocolate soil.
Every element was full of flavour, providing a variety of textures. Any one would be gorgeous on its own, and together it was delightful. The banana rice pudding under the chocolate sauce layer (light and gentle) was particularly unique, tasting more like it was made with dried bananas than just cooked bananas.

On the right in the distance is the Galley Foods Cafe at Bobbin Head, a favourite place for a light meal. It’s recently been renovated, including a bar now, and the food has ramped up from cafe-style to more light restaurant-style. Still a great spot.

St George’s Anglican Church, Mt Wilson:

Now I’m on vacation I’ve had some spare time to go back over the photos I took at Mt Wilson a few weeks back, and pick out some to put here on Flickr.
Mount Wilson is a delightful village nestled in the Blue Mountains, off the Bells Line of Road across the Mountains. The climate is cooler than in Sydney, with the seasons being more marked. Spring and autumn in Mt Wilson are particularly beautiful times of the year. The village is small, with houses built mainly in the late 1800s, sprawling gardens and picturesque laneways. Many homes open their gardens several times a year.
Contributing to the peacefulness and beauty is that there are no shops or petrol stations. Bringing your own food for a picnic is one of the pleasures of the place.www.mtwilson.com.au/index.html
